The Nightingale Public Advocacy Collective is based in Eugene, Oregon.
We believe that everyone has a right to be treated with dignity and fairness regardless of socioeconomic status, and that everyone has a right to congregate in public space without harassment.
We are dedicated to advocating for the civil rights of the unhoused, transient, and runaway youth in our community. We also focus on combating bigotry and prejudice, educating the public about issues surrounding homelessness, illustrating connections between local criminalization policies and large-scale economic injustice, and creating a culture of inclusion through putting our beliefs to action and living by example.
